What we collect

• Email address — when you sign up for the newsletter.
• Email engagement — such as whether emails are opened or links clicked, collected by our email platform to improve the newsletter.
• Basic technical data — like approximate region, device/browser type, and pages viewed, collected in aggregate by our hosting and privacy-friendly analytics. We do not use this to identify you personally.

We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

How we use it

• To send you the daily momentum email and related messages you signed up for.
• To measure and improve our content and the performance of the Service.
• To protect the Service against abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.

Our lawful bases (where applicable) are your consent (which you may withdraw anytime) and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Service.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service, under agreements that require them to protect it, including:

• beehiiv — our email newsletter platform, which stores subscribers and delivers our emails.
• Cloudflare — our website hosting and security provider.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

Cookies & analytics

Our website itself sets no advertising cookies. We aim to use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics for aggregate traffic measurement. Our email platform may use tracking pixels to measure opens and clicks; you can block remote images in your email client to limit this.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do neither). To exercise any right, email us and we'll respond within the time the law allows. You will never be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

Unsubscribing

Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops the emails; we retain a minimal suppression record so we don't email you again by mistake.

Data retention & security

We keep your email for as long as you're subscribed and for a reasonable period afterward for legal and record-keeping purposes, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

We may update this policy; material changes take effect when posted with a new “last updated” date.
